How to touch files?

Sometimes you might have files with wrong modification time and you don't know how to fix it.

The method below helps to give a file current modification time. On any platform you need to open command line/terminal and apply the following command:

copy /b *+,,

Instead of "*" you need to put file name and path to that file, for example:

C:\Users\user\Desktop\wgety\1>copy /b C:\Users\user\Desktop\wgety\1\jira.txt+,,

Linux, Mac, Freebsd, NAS:

touch "path_and_name_of_your_file"

For example:

touch /home/cipher/cmd/1
